Kelham Makes: Jewellery Making

Thu 25 February 2027 , 6pm-8pm

Kelham Island Museum

Learn how to create a pair of hand painted statement earrings made from wood in this hands-on session with maker Melissa Holdsworth.

Design and create your very own pair of one-off earrings experimenting with colour, pattern and different materials – whether you want to go big and bold or cute and simple, it's completely up to you. It's all about getting creative and having fun in a very relaxed environment.

Melissa Holdsworth is a Sheffield-based jewellery maker who uses laser cut wooden pieces of various shapes and sizes that she then paints her signature designs onto and combines with metal findings. Melissa creates stylish pieces that are vibrant, eye-catching and unique.

All levels are welcome, whether you just want to dip your toe in and have a go or whether you have a creative background.

Please read the cancellation policy here before booking. We are unable to give refunds or ticket transfers with less than 7 days' notice before the session takes place.

In need of a present idea? Our Kelham Makes sessions make a great creative gift. You can find more information about our upcoming creative sessions here
