Family Activity: Spooky Science

Thu 29 October 2026 , 12pm-3pm

Kelham Island Museum

Science is looking very spooooky at Kelham island Museum this October half term – come and join us for some fun-packed experiments at the museum, all with a Halloween twist!

Back by popular demand, Spooky Science returns to help you make the slimiest slime, and learn all about the chemical reactions behind it too. Ready to bust a spooky move? You'll also have the chance to create your own dancing ghost using balloons, paper and static electricity!

Everything we do is made possible by you – please donate £3 to help us showcase homegrown creativity and ensure that everyone can enjoy the best in art and design here, on their doorstep.
