Learn how to make a decorative and functional copper bowl under guidance from professional metalworker Melissa Montague.
During this hands-on workshop, join metalsmith Melissa as she guides you through all the techniques you need to need to create your own beautiful bowl to take away.
You'll work with aluminium and copper and learn how to texture sheet metal using hammers and punches to create your own, unique vessel.
No prior experience needed and all materials will be provided.
The bowls are approximately 58mm wide when finished.
Adults only (16+)
Melissa Montague is a metalsmith whose practice explores traditional silversmithing techniques such as hammer raising and forging. Predominantly working with silver, copper and brass Melissa creates vessel forms and spoons, which question the boundaries between function and sculpture.
