Curator Tour: Good Morning – A Day in Art

Join Exhibition Curator Katie Irwin for a tour of the latest exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, Good Morning: A Day in Art by Chantal Joffe and Ishbel Myerscough. 

Painters Chantal Joffe and Ishbel Myerscough have shared a close friendship and artistic dialogue for decades. While distinct in style, their work is united in its exploration of family, friendship and the everyday. Good Morning sees them trace the unfolding of a single day through the eyes of more than 80 artists. Presenting their own deeply personal paintings and drawings alongside works from Sheffield’s collection by William Blake, Prunella Clough, Paul Gauguin, David Hockney, Claudette Johnson and more, Joffe and Myerscough celebrate the quiet significance of ordinary experience.
