Evening Workshop: Festive Felt Decorations

Thu 26 November 2026 , 6pm-8pm

Millennium Gallery

Design and create a beautiful, festive felt decoration in this hands-on workshop with award-winning embroidery artist Jessica Grady.

Create your own stitched felt decoration such as a tree, bird or shaped bauble, with added hand stitch and embellishment details. Each decoration will be topped with a ribbon loop and filled with stuffing to create a unique decoration.

You will leave the session with your own beautiful festive decoration to add to your tree or give as a gift to friends or family.

This workshop is suited to all abilities (a basic level of sewing skills is helpful but not essential), and all materials are provided. The workshop is limited to 12 participants, so you get plenty of support and the benefit of Jessica’s expertise. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Jessica Grady is an award-winning embroidery artist, educator and author from West Yorkshire. Her work is a colourful and creative exploration of hand stitch and mixed media, and she utilises waste and recycled materials, which are transformed into exciting embellishments. Jessica is passionate about exploring mixed media to create fun artworks that take otherwise discarded materials and turn them into embellished treasure. She creates detailed sculptures and wall framed artwork all showcasing her intricate signature style. Jessica’s work has been exhibited in the UK, Europe and Asia, and she shares her skills across the UK and beyond through workshops and lectures. Her first book 'Stitched Mixed Media' was published in 2023 with Crowood Press.
