Explore AI & 'glitch aesthetic' with Kuang-Yu Tsui.
Screening & Talk #3 | C&G Artpartment Artist-in-Residence Project
Every day we follow rules nobody wrote down. What happens when a machine tries to understand them?
Taiwanese artist Kuang-Yu Tsui uses humor, absurdity, and urban interventions to expose the invisible systems shaping human behaviour. In his latest work, Mimicry Elise Protocol, Tsui invites AI to study human actions from a machine’s perspective. The results can seem utterly absurd—or even stupid. But look closer: that glitch in logic may be precisely where intelligence and critique lie.
C&G Artpartment warmly invites you to an exclusive screening and interactive artist discussion with Kuang-Yu Tsui. Together, we will examine the “glitch aesthetic” and explore how artificial intelligence’s errors prompt unexpected creativity and critical reflection.
