Weston Park Museum

The Burton family served the people of Attercliffe and Carbrook for almost 100 years. The area was a major centre for steelmaking and home to thousands of families.

 

One of the visitor favourites at the museum, this recreation in the Sheffield Life & Times gallery gives a sense of what the what the shop looked like before it closed in 1985.

The Sheffield Stories gallery is currently closed for redisplay. The new display, Caribbean Footsteps, will open on Fri 10 May.
