Sheffield Stories: Sheffield in the 1950s, 60s & 70s

Continuing Display

Weston Park Museum

Sheffield Stories celebrates the very best thing about our fantastic city – its people.

The first exhibition in the new gallery looks at life in the city during the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Exploring our home lives, neighbourhoods and the events and experiences we’ve lived through together, these new displays have been developed in partnership with residents in the South East of the city.

Discover fashion, photographs, toys and mementos from the period, hear stories and memories from Sheffield people, play vintage board games and relax in our retro-style front room.

Opening Times

Tue–Sat 10am–5pm | Sun 11am–4pm

The Sheffield Stories gallery is currently closed for redisplay. The new display, Caribbean Footsteps, will open on Fri 10 May.
