Join us as we unveil a magical world of interactive discovery for 0–5-year-olds and their grown-ups.
The Bobeam Tree is a magical tree that grows when surrounded by children’s curiosity, play, thoughts and feelings. The Tree forms the heart of an exhibition that invites you to immerse yourself in a world of wonder – here, you can play, learn and explore together through a host of activities inspired by the artworks, objects and animals on display.
To celebrate the Tree taking root in Sheffield, we’ll be giving the first 100 little visitors we welcome to the exhibition a special goodie bag, including a free book and some Bobeam treats. You’ll be among the first to see The Bobeam Tree in Sheffield and explore this joy-filled magical experience for our littlest visitors.
On the day, we’ll be taking some photographs and video clips to help spread the word about The Bobeam Tree in Sheffield. The photographer will ask your permission first, so if you’d rather not have your photo taken that’s absolutely fine.
The Bobeam Tree comes to Sheffield in partnership with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and the National Portrait Gallery. As it grows in different museums and galleries around the UK, the Tree inspires interactive exhibitions and experiences which help babies and young children connect with museum and gallery collections, and nurture social and emotional skills.
