Becca Brown

Tue 16 January - Sun 28 April 2024

Millennium Gallery

Originally from the Scottish Highlands, Becca Brown moved to Sheffield in 2017 to attend a Ceramic Starter Studio programme and is now based in Yorkshire Artspace’s Persistence Works.

Working mainly in porcelain, Becca combines drawing, painting and printmaking to build narrative on the surface of decorative hand-built ceramics. With inspiration gathered from observations of what surrounds her and imagery from half-remembered Scottish superstitions and old wives’ tales, she aims to capture moments of human connection and intimacy in her drawings.
