Why did Sheffield have waterwheels? how did they work?

Children will enter an original grinders shop, discover how waterpower works by observing a moving waterwheel, and find out why this was important to the rise of industrial Sheffield. They will visit the dam and hopefully spot some wildlife too.

Please note: this workshop is only available in the Spring 2 and Summer terms.
