Abbeydale’s Victorians: Danger, Destruction and Drama
What was life really like in Victorian Sheffield?
Find out about 8 year olds Anne and William who lived at Abbeydale Works. Find out about health and safety at work, for adults and children, the growth of union activism and how this all still relates to children today.
Due to space restrictions your class will work through a carousel of 3 activities. We will need two of your adults to lead 2 of the activities. Clear instructions and information will be provided beforehand.
This workshop will be available on Thursdays and Fridays from April to the end of October.
