We are looking for talented makers to join us for our annual selling showcase celebrating the finest of British contemporary craft on a sale or return basis.

Crafted This Christmas is Sheffield Museums’ annual selling showcase celebrating the finest of British contemporary craft.

Held at Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery and open from 25 October – 24 December 2025 during our busy festive season, it will be focused on showcasing original crafted pieces and their stories, from inspiration to completion.

The crafted pieces on display will include ceramics, glass, jewellery, metalwork, textiles and wood.  We are looking for talented makers to join us this year on a sale or return basis.  We are especially interested in hearing from textile and glass makers, and makers who are keen to create a new range for the show. The ranges can include one off pieces or small scale production available in a variety of price points.

Applications for Crafted This Christmas are open to UK based craftspeople or designer-makers.  We are eager to feature makers new to the Millennium Gallery, especially those based in Yorkshire and the East Midlands.  We would particularly welcome makers from diverse backgrounds who are currently underrepresented in the craft sector.

We will provide a safe platform for independent makers to showcase their work whilst raising vital funds to support Sheffield Museums’ work as a charity. Proceeds from sales help ensure that the city’s museums and galleries remain free and open for everyone to enjoy.
