Discover a host of cultural practices connected to the moon, reunion and shared heritage in this special event celebrating East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) Heritage Month, organised by Re-Water.
You’ll have the chance to enjoy an array of cultural art and craft activities – including lantern-making, calligraphy, poem-sharing, and light-painting – as well as cross-cultural 'Show and Tell' sessions showcasing poetry, performances and cultural presentations.
Taking place during ESEA Heritage Month, this year’s event will build on the success of the popular mid-autumn festival celebrations over the last two years. Re-Water look forward to welcoming even more ESEA communities from cross Sheffield, alongside members of the wider public interested in cultural practices connected to the moon, reunion, and shared heritage.
This event is organised by Re-Water, a local group that aims to organise art and community activities to share the cultural values embraced by Hongkongers, such as cultural diversity, freedom of expression and the philosophy of fluidity as water.
