Drawing from History

Sat 3 August 2024 , 1:30pm-3:30pm

Weston Park Museum

**Next session Sat 3 Aug will be at Weston Park Museum **

Practise sketching and explore the displays in the galleries in a different way in this new drop-in activity run by our wonderful museum volunteers.

You might choose to loosely sketch a few objects or focus in on one detail. You can follow the prompts given by the volunteer or draw whatever interests you. No artistic experience is necessary – this is a friendly, informal activity where everyone is welcome!

Pencils, paper, drawing boards and stools will be available, though you are welcome to bring your own sketchbook if you prefer. Please note that due to the delicate nature of the objects on display, we only work with pencil and wet media are not permitted.

This is a free activity, rather than a taught class, so feel free to drop in at any time during the two hours and have a go.
