Crafty Careers Fair

Thu 11 July 2024 , 4:30pm-7pm

Kelham Island Museum

Join us for an evening of craft at Kelham Island Museum, in collaboration with the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST). From hands-on activities and demonstrations to mini workshops and talks, learn about the amazing careers in crafts!

Whether you’re just starting your career, studying or keen to try something new, Crafty Careers Fair will open your eyes to the range of crafts out there and how you can turn your creativity into a career.

You’ll learn about a range of different crafts from willow weaving and stonemasonry to embroidery and metalwork plus there’ll be talks from professionals from Sheffield Hallam University. Head along for a fun, interactive and alternative evening out at the museum, where you can enjoy a variety of demonstrations, hands-on activities, longer workshops and a soft drink pay bar.

Each ticket comes with one short workshop, which you can sign up for at the information table when you arrive.

Book your FREE ticket now. Suitable for young people aged 14-25, parents and carers welcome to accompany.
