Family Event: Kelham Nature Day

Join us and enjoy an afternoon of fun nature-themed activities for all ages in this hands-on family session in collaboration with Kelham Island and Neepsend Community Alliance (KINCA) and the Don Catchment Rivers Trust (DCRT).

Take part in hands-on activities and demonstrations from local organisations including river water testing with Sheffield Hallam University, find out what creatures can be found in the River Don with DCRT and take part in KINCA’s competition to design a nature themed image for a local bin! Plus we’ll have walking tours, learn about the campaign to use less plastic with Sheffield Action on Plastic and take part in activities with Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust.  

This event is part of Sheffield Showcase and takes place during The Big River Watch.
