Millennium Gallery

A series of works by Sheffield based artist blacksmith Sam Sherborne.

Standing at nearly two and a half metres tall, 270 is a memorial to the estimated 270 Sheffield men killed during just the first ten minutes of the Battle of the Somme. 

There are also two cases of smaller sculptures, with a mixture of works reflecting Sam’s family and health experiences, as well as some thoughts on modern life.

Tue–Sat 10am–5pm | Sun 11am–4pm

Closed Mondays including Bank Holidays

***The gallery will open at the slightly later time of 11.30am on Tue 16 Dec to allow for essential staff training***
