Off the Shelf: Oldenland - Roger Clough

Old age is a country we need to learn to walk through. That’s how Roger Clough, former Professor of Social Care, Peak District walker and resident of ‘Oldenland’ spends his time.

How do we learn to be old, to spend later years in a meaningful way, able to say I am still me? If we have not arrived in ‘Oldenland’, how can we understand those who have and prepare for the future? Oldenland is a companion to the experiences of old age and how to make it count.
