Take time to slow down, notice and reflect as we immerse our senses in the beauty of our Sheffield parks as spring emerges.
Come and join Caroline Cook from Well With Nature for a nature mindfulness walk inspired by the current Gathering Landscapes exhibition at Weston Park Museum. Immerse your senses in nature as we slow down and connect with ourselves, opening our eyes to the treasures, symbolism and beauty in the natural world.
You’ll be invited to participate in sensory activities, including some creative nature art, and to share your insights and observations if you would like to.
The session will start at Weston Park Museum and then move outdoors. The walk will go ahead unless there are severe weather conditions, so please wear warm waterproof clothes and suitable footwear. You may like to bring a water bottle and something to sit on, such as a sit mat.
This session is aimed at adults and the minimum age to attend is 16 years old. For events and activities aimed at children, please see our website.
The session will be run by Caroline Cook from Well With Nature. Caroline has a background in the NHS and works as a Horticultural therapist and Forest Therapy Practitioner in Sheffield. She runs regular sessions at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet in Forest Bathing and Herbal Wellness.
This session forms part of the programme of events complementing the exhibition Gathering Landscapes, at Weston Park Museum until 1 November 2026.
