Lunchtime Talk: Tommy Hibberd – Scribble Art and the Energy of a Moment

Thu 21 May 2026 , 1pm-1:45pm

Weston Park Museum

Join Tommy Hibberd as he takes us through his artistic journey, from his early scribble-based drawings to the artwork on display at Weston Park Museum today.

In this illustrated talk, Tommy will break down his creative process and how he finds a balance between chaos and control to form each piece. He will also open up about the realities of working as both an artist and tattoo artist and discuss how a simple way of drawing evolved into a method of capturing movement, energy and emotion, particularly within sport and human performance.

This talk is an open look at the work, the process, and the effort behind it.
