We’ll guide you through the process of building a pinhole camera step by step. This clever, early photography method doesn’t use a lens and was developed during the Victorian era. We will show you to use light-sensitive paper with your camera to capture images with a magical feel to them. Plus, we’ll help you find opportunities to take your own, atmospheric photos.
This workshop is suitable for the whole family to do together. All materials will be provided and no experience required.
What families have said about our workshops:
“It’s good for children (and adults) to try something different.”
“The best thing about it was the freedom for the kids to choose what they wanted to create. Also, great craft supplies.”
“It’s useful to try something new at a reasonable price.”
“I liked that it gave us some wholesome family time.”
Sessions run for 50 minutes. Please arrive at the start time of your ticket to ensure maximum time during the workshop. Please book a ticket for each child and each adult who will be participating in the workshop. All ticket holders will be creating a pinhole camera each. All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
