Family Activity: Oozing Oobleck and Spooky Slime

Thu 30 October 2025 , 12pm-3pm

Kelham Island Museum

We’re getting into the spooky spirit this half term and exploring the chemistry behind different types of runny goo in this drop-in family-friendly activity.

An oobleck is a material that can act like both a liquid and a solid – you’ll learn about the science behind this weird and wonderful stuff, experiment with your own viscous liquids, and make some special slime to take home with you.

Suggested donation £5 – Please donate if you're able and help keep your museums open and available for everyone to enjoy.
