Family Activity: Collecting Creative Creations

Tue 17 February 2026 , 12pm-3pm

Weston Park Museum

How would you tell the story of objects and artefacts from a museum? Spend time around the museum making and gathering things to display and store in your own personal mini cabinet of curiosities.

From creating clay relics to discovering the textures of artefacts, from drawing specimens to handling objects, we’ll be exploring what it means to keep collections and the different ways we can display them.

Everything we do is made possible by you – please donate £3 to help tell stories that connect people with their history, the world around them and each other
