Embrace Abbeydale: Share Your Stories

We would love to hear your memories of Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet. Do you its remember restoration in the 1960s and ‘70s? Or perhaps you used to work here, visited when you were young, or have a family connection? Maybe you have photographs or objects related to life or work there?

Please join us to celebrate Abbeydale and share your stories with us. There is also a free family activity for younger visitors, and free tours at 12 and 2pm.  

We want to build our understanding of the value of the hamlet to people who live nearby, and throughout Sheffield, so that we can record and share it with visitors. If you would like to tell us your story but you can’t make it along on the day, please email pamela.cunningham@sheffieldmuseums.org.uk
