Donkey Nonsense: Prints by James Green

Sat 27 May - Sun 8 October 2023

Millennium Gallery

In summer 2023 the Millennium Gallery celebrated the work of one of Sheffield's most popular artists and printmakers, James Green.

Alongside his bold renderings of landscapes and animals of all kinds, donkeys have been a much-loved mainstay of Green's prints for over 15 years. This exhibition showcased more than 50 of Green's donkey-inspired screenprints and linocuts, alongside clothing, ceramics, films and more.

Donkey Nonsense also featured a series of new work, which went on sale exclusively in the gallery shop.
