Discover BSL Tour: Signs of Colour

Sun 20 July 2025 , 12pm-1pm

Millennium Gallery

Discover British Sign Language (BSL) and learn some new vocabulary while we wander round the displays at the Millennium Gallery with Martin Glover, a Deaf BSL user, architect and art facilitator.

You'll see the latest exhibition at the museum, Colour, and use this to explore British Sign Language. You'll learn some words in BSL and understand more about how the Deaf community experience and talk about art.

The event will be supported by an interpreter.

Please note that there will be a second event in the afternoon – a tour of the exhibitions delivered wholly in BSL. If you would like to book onto that, please click here.

This tour forms part of the programme of events complementing the exhibition Colour, which opens at the Millennium Gallery on 19 June 2025, until 14 September 2025.

A MAGNET partnership exhibition, with Art Fund support and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Suggested donation £5 – Please donate if you're able and help keep your museums open and available for everyone to enjoy.
