Set on the banks of the River Don, Kelham Island Museum is a mainstay of Sheffield coolest neighbourhood, Kelham Island, where boutique bars and the city’s best eateries sit alongside historic buildings and some of the oldest pubs in Sheffield. The museum’s Upper Gallery combines industrial character with contemporary comfort - seating up to 200 guests and fully equipped with audio-visual facilities, flexible staging, and free WiFi. Just a short walk from Sheffield train station, Millennium Gallery offers a bright, contemporary setting for conferences, meetings and receptions within one of the region’s leading cultural spaces.
Our purpose-built, flexible event spaces, the Cadman and Arundel Rooms, can host up to 200 guests, are fully equipped with audio-visual technology and free Wifi. These adjoining rooms can be used separately or combined, thanks to a removable partition wall. The Arundel Room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and striking city views, brings natural light, while the Cadman Room adds extra capacity or focus space.
And if you’re looking for something a little different, the gallery’s outdoor terrace is the ideal spot for drinks and canapes on a sunny summer’s evening. The Avenue, the gallery’s main thoroughfare, is a striking setting for networking receptions, with the option to include a private viewing of the exhibitions and displays. Our Activity Room is equipped with a projector and screen that’s perfect for your creative workshop or small meeting.

Set within the beautiful green surroundings of Weston Park, the neoclassical architecture and inspiring galleries of Weston Park Museum offer a characterful venue for meetings, receptions and creative workshops. Located close to the University of Sheffield, hospitals and major transport links, it’s both peaceful and accessible. It’s a unique cultural setting in the heart of the city.
Events take place in the heart of the museum, with access to two of its most versatile galleries. The Picturing Sheffield gallery, with floor-to-ceiling displays spanning 250 years of city views in the style of a traditional Victorian gallery, offers real impact. The Sheffield Stories’ gallery chronicles people’s lives in Sheffield through an eclectic array of objects, photographs, archive footage and personal recollections, making every event feel grounded in the spirit of the city.
For smaller gatherings, the museum also offers three well-equipped Activity Rooms, ideal for workshops, training sessions or meetings. Each room includes a projector and screen, with space for up to 50 guests theatre-style or 20 boardroom-style.
