To ensure the best experience for you, these exclusive, hands-on sessions have a strictly limited capacity.

Tours have a four-person minimum to run, so for bookings of less than four we'll liaise with bookers to find a suitable date for a shared tour.

9.30am-11.30am, light refreshments provided.

About the day

You’ll arrive ready for a 9.30am start. Remember to wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes as you’ll be spending a lot of time on your feet.

We’ll begin with an introduction to the collection over a cup of tea before a brief tour of the store with our Curator. They’ll then give you an overview of your specialist subject area and show you some of the highlights of the collection.

There’ll be lots of opportunities to talk about the collections and examine and handle them where appropriate. There’ll be a comfort break about halfway through when tea and biscuits will be served.
